Patent strategy includes applying for, and obtaining, original patents, licensing others’ patents, asserting patents against others, working around others’ patents, and invalidating others’ bad patents. We will discuss strategies for procuring and asserting patents, as well as working around and, where necessary, invalidating others’ patents.
